“Being Well-rounded”The Faculty of Liberal Arts focuses on making learners well-rounded and widely known. The Faculty emphasizes on liberal arts academic education and specific skills in linguistics. The Faculty also gives students the opportunity to study foreign languages e.g. Japanese, Chinese, and French; social studies; cultural studies; philosophical studies; and historical studies. All of these could be a foundation for understanding oneself, other people, the world, and nature. All these can be applied and develop oneself to keep up with the changes in global society.
“Being Insightful”The Faculty of Liberal Arts offers both theoretical and practical aspects of academic studies. Every subject focuses on specific contents so students can have profound understanding and are well prepared for future professions.
“Being Well-informed”The Faculty of Liberal Arts provides student the opportunity to study various sciences that are necessary and meet the needs in pursuing a career. This is conducted both through physical classes and self-study via e-learning. The Faculty develops essential 21st century skills and H-I-D-E-F skills to prepare students to be global citizens.
“Being Known”The Faculty of Liberal Arts is a warm and friendly society emphasizing on creative activities to build relationships among students in Years 1-4. Students also take part in activities with friends from other faculties so they can have awareness of benefiting other people.
