วันที่ 3 เมษายน 2567 ศูนย์การแปลและการล่าม คณะศิลปศาสตร์ จัดโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรและผู้สนใจด้านการใช้เทคโนโลยีเพื่อช่วยงานแปล/งานล่าม ประจำปี 2567 ผ่านระบบออนไลน์โปรแกรม Zoom Meeting และถ่ายทอดสดผ่าน Facebook Live โดยมีอาจารย์ ดร.รังสิมา นิลรัต กรรมการศูนย์การแปลและการล่าม คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เป็นหัวหน้าโครงการ วิทยากรได้รับเกียรติจากคุณทัศนีย์ กีรติรัตน์วัฒนา ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านเทคโนโลยีการแปล, นักแปลและล่ามอิสระ กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการโดยอาจารย์ศศิพินทุ์ ดิษฐานนท์ กรรมการศูนย์การแปลและการล่าม คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล
โครงการดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการรู้จักเทคโนโลยีและปัญญาประดิษฐ์เพื่อช่วยในการแปล รวมถึงมีความรู้ความเข้าใจหลักการและใช้งานเครื่องมือช่วยแปลประเภทต่าง ๆ และสามารถนำความรู้ไปปรับใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ในการทำงานด้านการแปลได้ในอนาคต
Translation and Interpretation Center (TIC), Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University, hosted an online workshop on translation and interpreting technology
On April 3rd, 2024, TIC organized an annual workshop, also known as “TICTEC”, which was tailored for professionals and enthusiasts in translation and interpreting technology. The workshop was conducted via Zoom Meeting with live streaming on Facebook Live.
Khun Tassanee Keeratiratwattana, a distinguished expert in translation technology, freelance translator, and interpreter, graced the event as the keynote speaker. Dr. Rangsima Ninrat led the workshop, with moderation by Associate Professor Sasipin Distanont, both esteemed committee members of TIC.
The project’s objective was to familiarize participants with technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) applicable to translation tasks, covering fundamental principles and practical usage of various translation tools. The aim was to empower participants with the knowledge necessary to enhance their translation work in the future.
